Job Summary
Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and IT stakeholders to improve how the organization uses data. Own the creation, management and improvement of various data assets, including pipelines, tables, dashboards, and other data products. Help raise standards for governance across data platforms and ensure alignment with institutional best practices. Help teams with the data needed to make better decisions contributing to the organization’s mission.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and ongoing management of data tables for use in various data applications.
- Collaborate with IT partners to complete data table creation and management work.
- Work with Analytics, IT, and Marketing stakeholders to build, optimize, scale, and manage the BI ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency or vendor partners to ensure alignment with Marketing Analytics perspectives.
- Champion a hybrid Service and Self-Service analytics model within Marketing and Communication.
- Educate peers while building analytics solutions to support self-service capabilities.
- Manage workspaces, data refresh processes, and dataflow creation.
- Improve data processing efficiency including automation where possible.
- Improve taxonomy, processes, and technical infrastructure that support organizational data work.
- Ensure alignment with institutional standards and governance best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience working with Databricks (as a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse solution) and using dbt within it (to build pipelines and tables) is required.
- High proficiency working with SQL, Github, and .yaml files is required. Deep familiarity with SQL and various downstream data applications including business intelligence tools is needed.
- 3+ years working in Analytics, Data Engineering, or a similar field is required.
- Experience working with Marketing data is highly desired.
- Ability to understand the context of data and apply it to inform business analysis.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate – through messaging, documentation, and live speaking – is critical.
- Experience with PowerBI and its related ecosystem (Power Platform) is highly preferred.
- Additional coding experience which could be a value-add to a marketing organization is a plus.
