Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, test, maintain, and implement database management systems in scalable, high-performance environments.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute database changes while ensuring data integrity, system availability, and minimal disruption.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex database performance, capacity, availability, and scalability issues.
- Design, implement, and enforce database security controls to protect sensitive and mission-critical data.
- Collaborate closely with AI, machine learning, and data engineering teams to support AI model training workflows and data pipelines.
- Provide database expertise to optimize data access, storage, and performance for AI/ML use cases.
- Document database processes, architectures, and best practices clearly and accurately.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical concepts effectively through written documentation and verbal discussions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for AI-related database requirements and ongoing AI training initiatives.
