Purpose
As an Application Development Intern, you support the development team by testing applications, developing unit tests, contributing to front-end enhancements using light JavaScript, learning SQL to help build data testing, and learning Java to assist with the development of code.
Responsibilities
You will assist the Application Development team in a variety of functions, such as:
- Assist with testing web applications for functionality, usability, and data accuracy.
- Document and report bugs or inconsistencies in a clear and organized manner.
- Develop unit tests within Mendix.
- Develop Java code and unit tests for components.
- Support development efforts by writing and modifying light JavaScript.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases or logic updates.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.

- Familiarity with web application testing and quality assurance processes.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (or willingness to learn quickly).

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative on assigned tasks.
