Lead Artist

At Against Gravity, we're currently searching for a Lead Artist for a mobile gaming studio focusing on producing free-to-play 3D simulation hobby games based in Wrocław, Poland.

Work mode: Hybrid [3 days a week at the office]

Studio locations: Wrocław, Poland

Platform: Mobile [Unity]

Responsibilities

* Developing and maintaining the final look of the game;

* Sharing feedback and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to 2D and 3D Artists to ensure the successful execution of design projects;

* Create assets and active participation in creating new localization within the game;

* Collaborating with Producer (Project Manager) to coordinate planning of assets production;

* Working closely with cross-functional partners and product managers to strengthen and scale the production pipeline as well as drive innovative solutions;

* Eating, sleeping, and breathing 2D, 3D and/or UI art and incorporating it into new games.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in the art leader/coordinator position in game development (min. 2 years);

* Capacity to work independently as well as leading the art team;

* Experience in 2D & 3D software, e.g. Photoshop, 3DS Max, Blender etc.;

* Demonstrated ability to produce top-quality assets;

* Being passionate about games and having up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in game design and visual communication;

* Understanding the importance of User Interface design and value its importance;

* Possessing knowledge and comprehension of the project's features;

* Taking pride in what you do;

* Value and respect feedback from your team;

* Fluent English;

* Experience in Unity.
