Cloudera Administrator (CDP Private Cloud Base & Data Services)
Remote for the first 2–3 months → Relocation required afterward (on-site)
Full-time | 8-Month Contract
We are looking for a hands-on Cloudera Administrator (4–6 years of experience) to join our team and support the installation, configuration, and administration of CDP Private Cloud Base and Cloudera Data Services.
Important:
- The role will be remote for the first 2–3 months, after which relocation to Qatar and on-site work will be required.
- We are considering candidates located in Europe, Ukraine, or the Balkan region only.
In this role, you will work on end-to-end platform administration, including Cloudera Data Warehouse (CDW), Cloudera Data Engineering (CDE), and Cloudera AI (CAI), ensuring platform stability, security, and performance in an on-prem environment.

• Install, configure, upgrade, and administer CDP Private Cloud Base
• Manage core ecosystem services such as HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Hue, Kafka, Zookeeper, Ranger, and Atlas
• Install and administer Cloudera Data Services (CDW, CDE, CAI) including environment setup, operations, and troubleshooting
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) for critical Hadoop services
• Configure and manage Kerberos authentication and TLS / Auto-TLS certificate lifecycle
• Administer Ranger security policies, auditing, and governance integrations
• Configure and operate Ranger KMS and HDFS Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
• Integrate Ranger KMS with external HSM / enterprise KMS solutions
• Perform performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning
• Automate operational tasks using Bash or Python
• 4–6 years of hands-on Cloudera on-prem administration
