Senior UX/UI Designer

We’re looking for a passionate UX/UI Designer who’s eager to learn, experiment, and help shape exceptional digital experiences in a fast‑moving startup. You’ll work closely with developers and product stakeholders to bring ideas to life, improve usability, and introduce design best practices from day one.

**This is a fully remote position but candidates must be based within Scotland**

💡 About the Role

As our UX/UI Designer, you’ll contribute to the design of web and mobile experiences that are user‑friendly, visually polished, and functional. You’ll support the creation of new product features, help refine existing ones, and collaborate with the product and engineering teams in an agile environment.

This role is perfect for someone who has some hands‑on experience already — especially in startups — and who’s ready to expand their skill set, take ownership, and grow into a more senior position over time.

🎨 What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging user interfaces for web and mobile.

• Collaborating with developers to ensure smooth handoff and accurate implementation.
• Contributing to and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and brand consistency.
• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs in Figma.
• Conducting user interviews, usability testing, and analysing insights using Hotjar or GA.
• Supporting the design of new product features—including AI‑driven or data‑powered tools.
• Working in agile/scrum cycles and participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions.
• Helping to introduce and promote design best practices within the team.

• Figma
• Adobe Creative Suite

User Experience Foundations

• User flows, wireframes & prototyping
