Technical Information Analyst

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Information Analyst to join our team and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. In this role, you will translate business needs into clear technical specifications and support the design of scalable system integrations and APIs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Liaise with business stakeholders and IT specialists to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for development teams

• Map and model processes, data flows, and system interactions to ensure effective system integration
• Design, develop, and maintain SOAP services and RESTful APIs
• Support the design and evolution of the Business Rule Engine, Admin Tool, and APIs
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners throughout the development lifecycle
• Validate requirements and help resolve ambiguities or conflicting needs

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Information Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software development environment
• Strong conceptual understanding of IT landscapes and system integrations

• Experience creating flow diagrams, request/response models, sequence diagrams, and information models using Unified Modeling Language
• Familiarity with visual modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Experience with business rule and process modeling, preferably using Drools
• Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments
