Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
Pay Range:
- TX: $100,000–$130,000
- SD: $100,000–$135,000
- Per Diem: GSA rates (~$5.5k/month)

A leading federal and military construction contractor is seeking experienced Quality Control Managers (QCMs) to oversee quality assurance programs on large-scale federal, USACE, and military construction projects. These roles ensure all work adheres to project plans, specifications, codes, and federal standards.
- TX Project: ~$25M federal build for the Texas Military Department (civil + vertical).
- SD Project: ~$60M ground-up open hangar project with USACE, running through June 2028.
These positions fully support on-site construction teams and report directly to the Superintendent to maintain clear separation between quality, productivity, schedule, and safety oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance.
- Maintain, update, and manage project QC documentation and daily inspection reports.
- Conduct daily site inspections and verify work aligns with approved plans and submittals.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances; support corrective action processes.
- Oversee material receiving, storage, and verification against approved submittals.
- Coordinate and document all required third-party and code inspections.
- Prepare and track pre-punch lists, punch lists, and closeout items.
- Maintain accurate “as-built” drawings throughout project lifecycle.
- Support Superintendent, PM, Project Engineer, and field teams on all quality-related items.
Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Federal or military construction QC experience required (USACE, NAVFAC, or similar).
- Experience managing construction quality on projects $30M+.
- 3–5+ years QCM experience for TX role; 5+ years for SD role.
- Must be capable of obtaining security clearance.
- Proven ability to support full project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with field teams.
Plusses
- Prior dual-role experience (QCM/SSHO) for Brownwood, TX project.
- Previous experience on aviation, hangar, or DoD facility builds.
- Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, RMS, QCS, or other federal construction systems.
