Job Description

BrainRocket is a global company creating end-to-end tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing. Young, ambitious, and unstoppable, we've already taken Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Poland, and Serbia by storm. Our BRO team consists of 1,300 bright minds creating innovative ideas and products. We don’t follow formats. We shape them. We build what works, launch it fast, and make sure it hits.

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner who thrives in the space where complex system architecture meets high-level business strategy. If you are passionate about dissecting monolithic challenges into elegant microservices and leading cross-functional squads to deliver world-class products, your next big mission starts here in the heart of Lisbon.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the technical roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the overall product vision and business goals
  • Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog, translating complex business requirements into detailed, actionable technical user stories
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, managing expectations and technical trade-offs
  • Collaborate with Architects and Lead Developers to ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the platform
  • Oversee the sprint planning process and define "Definition of Done," ensuring every deployment meets the highest quality standards
  • Analyze system metrics and user feedback to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for technical debt reduction

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Systems Analyst in a fast-paced software environment (Fintech or iGaming experience is a major plus)
  • A strong background in software development (e.g., former Developer or QA) with a deep understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
  • Mastery of Scrum/Kanban methodologies and proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to grasp complex system dependencies and communicate technical limitations to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional English verbal and written skills, with the ability to influence others without formal authority
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Benefits

  • Learning and development opportunities and interesting, challenging tasks
  • Relocation package (tickets, staying in a hotel for up to 2 weeks, and visa relocation support for our employees and their family members)
  • Opportunity to develop language skills, with partial compensation for the cost of English and Portuguese language classes (for localization purposes)
  • Partial compensation for tennis and padel lessons
  • Urban Sport membership benefit (the most diverse sports and wellness offering in Europe, with more than 50+ activities)
  • Private medical coverage, including inpatient, outpatient, dental care, annual check-ups, and maternity support
  • Time for proper rest, with 24 non-business days per year and an additional 6 paid sick days
  • Transport compensation - 200 euros net per month
  • Competitive remuneration level with annual review
  • Teambuilding activities
