Manual Tester (Agile) - 12 Month Contract

We have 2 positions open for 12 month + contract positions for 2 Manual Testers. The positions are 100% remote. The manual testers must be very detail oriented and able to handle large complex testing Web and API environments. The core skills required are:

QTest

Manual Testing in Agile - large complex agile test environments

Black Box Testing for Web

The position is all Black Box testing and End to End Testing.

End to End Testing for Web – this includes regression testing, functional (pushing buttons on websites), and integration testing.

API – Postman

SQL

This support testing efforts for web portal and API-based applications. This role focuses on validating backend services, APIs, and data flows to ensure high-quality releases in a modern cloud-based environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with manual testing in Agile environments, API testing tools such as Postman, and the ability to analyze system behavior through logs, database queries, and test documentation. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure reliable and scalable applications.

This role is part of a highly collaborative Agile team responsible for delivering high-quality functionality across web applications and backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Testing & Quality AssuranceDesign, execute, and document manual test cases and test plans for web applications and APIs.
• Perform backend and API testing using tools such as Postman and ReadyAPI.
• Validate application behavior by reviewing API responses, logs, and database records.
• Participate in regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and QTest.
• API & Backend TestingValidate REST APIs using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Verify data integrity across systems using SQL queries and database tools (MongoDB and relational databases).
• Review application logs and troubleshoot issues related to backend services.
• Agile CollaborationWork within Agile/Scrum teams to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to clarify requirements and ensure quality delivery.

• Provide clear communication and feedback on defects, risks, and release readiness.
• Tools & Platform SupportWork with modern development and testing tools including Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Support testing for systems integrated with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform.
• Maintain documentation using tools such as Confluence and Snagit.

• Required Qualifications1–3 years of manual QA testing experience in an Agile environment
• Strong experience with API testing using Postman or ReadyAPI
• Ability to read and analyze Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries for backend validation
• Experience using JIRA and QTest for defect tracking and test management
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
