ONSITE - Must live within Egg Harbor, NJ area (Atlantic City) or willing to relocate to be considered. Company will help cover relocation expenses.

Job Responsibilities

Some high-level duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support for programming National Instruments data collection devices using LabVIEW and LabVIEW RT.
  • Provide technical support for developing real-time data processing and analysis, and data display programs.
  • Provide technical support for developing programs for data storage, data transfer and data query.
  • Provide technical support to develop, evaluate, test, improve, and maintain instrumentation software as directed by the manager.
  • Develop Instrumentation software documentation including software technical documentation and User's Guides.
  • Undertake special projects as required

Required Skills

  • Must possess and maintain a current National Instruments, Inc. Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) or Certified LabView Developer (CLD) certification for managing software engineering in LabVIEW and advanced architecture for LabVIEW.
  • Must be proficient with communicating with test equipment and sensors using data communication protocols, including TCP/IP, Network Streams, Serial, HTTP and WebDAV.
  • Experience using code repository tools such as GitHub
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Skilled in reviewing and documenting existing code with limited or no prior documentation
  • Flexible and adaptable to multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Ability to interact with diverse individuals in a courteous and professional manner.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience must be in LabView programming in real-time data collection systems

Education

  • Position requires BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 10 years of experience OR a MS/MA degree in STEM discipline with 8 years of experience.
