Tech Lead Unity Developer

We’re looking for a Tech Lead Unity Developer to take ownership of the technical side of our early-stage mobile game that we plan to evolve into a full-fledged strategy title and expand to iOS and web.

We are looking for a hands-on leader — a “playing coach” who will combine technical management and team leadership with active involvement in coding and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Unity development from prototype to release, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Audit current technical solutions and propose improvements to strengthen the product.
• Define and implement best practices in architecture, workflows, and performance optimization.
• Oversee the integration of analytics, ad networks, and third-party SDKs.
• Drive both client- and server-side implementation to support multiplayer, live-ops, and future 4X mechanics.
• Organize and support automated build, testing, release workflows, documentation and quality processes.
• Manage development resources and priorities to deliver on product goals.
• Mentor, support, and grow a high-performing development team.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to align on the long-term roadmap.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Unity3D, preferably in mobile and midcore/casual projects.
• Experience delivering projects on Android and iOS, including app store deployment.
• Familiarity with web builds and cross-platform optimization.
• Understanding of strategy/4X game mechanics and related technical challenges.
• Strong knowledge of client- and server-side development, with experience integrating backend services (SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency in integrating third-party SDKs, analytics, and monetization tools.
• Proven ability to organize development workflows and optimize processes.
• Leadership skills: mentoring developers, fostering collaboration, and ensuring delivery.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
