WordPress Web Developer/Designer Intern

Calling All Awesome Marketing Interns!!!

We are looking for a WordPress Web Developer/Designer Intern to assist with building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in web development, website design, and optimization while working with a marketing team.

The program is a 3-month remote internship, during which you will assist in fulfilling various digital marketing tasks for your mentioned business for 10 hours per week. This is an unpaid program whose end goal is to provide students with a higher chance of getting hired in the digital marketing space after completing our apprenticeship program.

Check with your school's Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting the hiring offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and updating WordPress websites
• Customize themes and page layouts using builders such as Elementor or similar tools
• Upload and format website content (pages, blogs, images)
• Support website performance improvements and basic SEO updates
• Troubleshoot minor website issues and bugs
• Collaborate with the marketing team on website improvements

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of WordPress
• Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
• Good eye for design, layout, and user experience
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
• Strong communication and willingness to learn
