Job Description
About Windsor.ai
Windsor.ai is a data integration and analytics platform that helps companies connect marketing, product and business data into a single source of truth. We enable teams to move data from dozens of sources (Google Ads, Meta, GA4, CRMs, databases…) into BI tools such as Looker Studio, BigQuery, Power BI or Snowflake.
Founded in 2017 in Zurich, Windsor.ai is a profitable SaaS with thousands of paying customers worldwide, including data-driven brands and agencies across Europe and the US.
We operate as a remote-first, highly technical team, where product quality, analytics and decision-making based on data truly matter.
As we enter our next growth phase, we’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who can bring clarity, structure, and scale to our marketing engine.
The Mission
As CMO, you will own Windsor.ai’s marketing strategy end-to-end.
Your mission is to:
- Drive sustainable, high-quality growth in signups and revenue
- Build a clear and credible brand in high-value markets (US & Europe)
- Ensure marketing decisions are measurable, data-driven, and business-oriented
What Success Looks Like
Your success will be measured by:
- Growth in qualified signups and revenue
- Improvements in CAC, ARPU, LTV and retention
- Better channel efficiency and attribution clarity
- Stronger brand perception in the US and European markets
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Define Windsor.ai’s positioning, narrative and value propositions.
- Translate a highly technical product into clear messaging for different ICPs (CMOs, agencies, analysts, BI teams).
- Ensure brand consistency across website, content, ads and partnerships.
- Growth & Channel Ownership
- Own the global marketing plan across:
- Google Ads (core acquisition channel)
- SEO (high-intent, business-driven)
- US-based influencers (trust & credibility)
- PR & linkbuilding (authority & demand capture)
- Decide where to invest, where to optimize, and where to stop, based on performance data.
- Data, Measurement & Decision-Making
- Own core marketing metrics: CAC, ARPU, LTV, churn, retention.
- Improve visibility into where signups and revenue come from.
- Build and maintain dashboards (GA4, Looker, internal BI, Amplitude or others…).
- Make confident decisions in imperfect or partial data environments.
- Team Leadership & Execution
- Lead a lean, distributed team of freelancers and specialists.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering on onboarding, templates and positioning.
- Set priorities clearly and keep the team focused on impact, not output.
- Experimentation & Continuous Improvement
- Design and run structured marketing experiments.
- Improve onboarding and early activation to reduce churn.
- Turn insights into actions quickly and pragmatically.
