Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are looking for an SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test) to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our cloud platform and applications by designing and executing comprehensive test plans across manual, automated, integration, and performance testing frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in web automation testing projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Willingness to work on manual testing activities.
• Experience in testing scalability and performance.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and architectures.
• Excellent communication, English skills, and ability to work closely across teams.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and the ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity.

• ISTQB/CSTE certification is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review product specifications and requirements to develop effective test plans and test cases
• Design and implement test automation scripts in Java using frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing, including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Rest Assured, etc.
• Perform thorough regression testing when new features are added or issues are fixed.
• Execute manual tests to validate product functionality and capture defects
• Log and track quality defects in bug tracking systems and follow up with engineering teams.
• Analyze test results, create detailed problem reports, and communicate status/findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and apply testing processes to meet quality standards for cloud-based systems
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality goals are met each sprint/iteration.
