Job Description
At RightMetric, we help world-class marketers at brands like Red Bull, lululemon, and Canadian Tire eliminate blind spots. We turn signals from audiences, competitors, and culture into "Marketing Outsight."
To keep that engine running at high velocity, we need a Digital Innovation Developer.
This role is a "Power Partnership." You will be a permanent, full-time employee of the Dawson Group (a storied, family-owned company known for its "People First" values and excellent benefits), but you will be embedded exclusively within the RightMetric business. You get the fast-paced, innovative culture of a marketing tech firm with the long-term stability and career growth of a well-established organization.
The Mission: Be a Friction-Slayer
We aren't looking for someone to maintain dusty legacy systems. We are looking for a technical partner who sees a manual, "clunky" process and thinks, "I can automate that into oblivion." In this role, you will:
- Orchestrate AI Driven Workflows: Use LLMs and agentic frameworks to gather data, analyze trends, and produce business outputs with full traceability.
- Ship Rapid Proofs of Concept: Work in short 2 to 3 week cycles to turn "what if" ideas into functional prototypes.
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Take technical ownership of our internal digital ecosystem, turning manual tasks into minutes of automated output.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements.

- The Stack: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (including React and Node.js).
- The Toolkit: Experience with GitHub and a genuine love for AI assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Business Acumen: You understand business concepts enough to navigate conversations and identify where technology can drive the most ROI.
- Self-Direction: You are comfortable operating independently in a fully remote environment while staying tightly aligned with the team.
