Schedule: M-F standard 40-hour week
Compensation: $48.81 - $71.19/hr
General Position Summary
This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid level trade compliance professional (4–5 years of experience) who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, global environment. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in import and export compliance and a strong interest in data, systems, and process automation, including self-directed use of AI tools.
The Trade Compliance Analyst will support the Global Trade Compliance team by assisting with day-to-day compliance operations, trade data analysis, reporting, and ERP Oracle / Global Trade Management (GTM) system support. This role supports multiple regions globally as needed.
This is a US remote, outsourced role, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Primary Focus Areas
- Import and export compliance operational function
- Trade data analysis, metrics, and KPI reporting
- Process documentation, optimization, and automation support
- Review of shipping and trade documentation for global shipments
- ERP Oracle / GTM system implementation support activities
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Support the Global Trade Compliance team in daily import and export compliance operations under limited guidance and supervision
- Review import and export documentation for international shipments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policy requirements
- Assist the team with ERP Oracle / GTM implementation as directed
- Collect, analyze, and transform trade data into meaningful metrics and reports for internal tracking and leadership
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders across functional teams to support trade compliance activities
- Respond to inquiries from freight forwarders and customs brokers regarding documentation and clearance requirements
- Support trade compliance-related projects, including coordination with regional team leaders
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist with research and analysis of trade compliance issues
- Identify opportunities to improve or automate existing compliance processes, including experimentation with AI-enabled tools
- Maintain and update documentation for processes, workflows, and controls
- Provide general support to other Global Trade Compliance team members as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of US import and export compliance requirements
- Ability to perform HTS & ECCN classification and apply US export compliance concepts
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to develop related metrics
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
- Experience using, or strong interest in independently learning and experimenting with AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Prior exposure to ERP Oracle or Global Trade Management (GTM) systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across regions and time zones
- Working knowledge of US export regulations; including EAR, OFAC and CBP
- High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4–5 years of experience in trade compliance, international business, imports/exports, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers preferred
- Experience supporting trade compliance systems, reporting, or process improvement initiatives is a plus
- Project management experience recommended
