About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Fractional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to design and execute a scalable revenue strategy for an innovative retail platform expanding into new international markets.
In this role, you will lead revenue generation across brand memberships, corporate partnerships, and strategic retail collaborations, while working closely with the executive leadership team to shape the company’s commercial growth strategy.
This position requires a balance of strategic leadership and operational execution, overseeing revenue generation, partnership development, and retail performance while building scalable systems to support international growth.
This engagement is fractional and project-based (Q2–Q4 2026), with the potential to transition into a long-term founding leadership role as the company scales globally.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the end-to-end revenue strategy across brand memberships, corporate partnerships, and new revenue verticals, targeting $1.5M+ in annual revenue
- Develop and implement a scalable sales model and pricing architecture for B2B partnerships
- Generate and manage sales opportunities with real estate developers, property partners, corporate partners, and strategic investors
- Build and maintain a strong revenue pipeline, delivering clear forecasting and KPI reporting to leadership
- Support the launch and optimization of flagship retail locations, improving foot traffic, brand performance, and stock turnover
- Collaborate with leadership to align retail operations, partnerships, and revenue goals
- Monitor consumer trends, retail innovation, and competitor activity to refine growth strategies
- Establish clear commercial processes and systems to support international expansion

- 5–10+ years of experience in commercial leadership, revenue strategy, or business development
- Experience working in or alongside startups or high-growth companies, ideally building revenue functions from early stage to $2.5M+ ARR
- Strong experience in retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), real estate partnerships, or brand services
- Proven track record of developing partnerships and closing strategic commercial deals
- Experience designing sales strategies, pricing models, and revenue frameworks
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on execution roles
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience working within retail ecosystems across the DACH region or the United States
- Existing network in retail, brand partnerships, real estate development, or experiential retail
- Experience supporting new store openings or retail activations
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or similar platforms
- Experience in pop-up retail, experiential retail, or brand activation formats
- French or German language skills are a plus
