A venture-backed AI startup is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build next-generation technology designed to improve safety across frontline workplaces. The company develops a platform that combines AI-native software, real-time location technology, and connected hardware to detect issues and deliver help exactly when and where it’s needed.

Founded in 2024 and backed by leading investors, the business is tackling a large and rapidly growing workplace safety market. Their platform is already deployed across schools, universities, and other frontline environments nationwide.

The Role

You will work closely with the founders and an experienced early engineering team to evolve the core platform, ship new features, and scale infrastructure supporting real-world safety systems. This is a high-impact role at an early-stage company where engineers contribute directly to architecture, product direction, and technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new product features that improve usability, reliability, and scalability
• Strengthen core infrastructure to ensure system uptime and performance
• Integrate new customers onto the platform
• Work closely with customers to understand operational needs and translate them into product solutions

Requirements

• 4–7 years’ experience as a full-stack software engineer
• At least 1 year working in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience building scalable web applications and systems

Compensation

• $180,000 – $230,000 base salary depending on experience
• Equity: 0.1–0.5%
