The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptionally talented Ph.D.-level scientist to join our interdisciplinary research team in New York City. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between bench science and cutting-edge computational modeling.
As a Principal Scientist, Translational Data, you will be a key architect of our scientific data strategy, working in close collaboration with our Machine Learning (ML) team. Your work will directly influence how we identify, curate, and analyze the complex biological and chemical datasets that fuel our drug discovery and development pipeline. You will operate at the intersection of high-performance computing—leveraging proprietary supercomputing technology—and advanced molecular dynamics to design therapies for significant human diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Curation: Design, identify, and curate high-quality scientific datasets (primarily chemical and biological) to support large-scale ML and computational modeling efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the scientific subject matter expert for the ML team, ensuring that data pipelines are biologically relevant and scientifically rigorous.
- Analytical Research: Analyze complex experimental data from diverse sources to extract actionable insights for drug discovery projects.
- Project Support: Support the end-to-end drug discovery process by integrating laboratory-derived data with advanced molecular dynamics simulations.
- Innovation: Contribute to the development of new methodologies for data-driven drug design in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biology, or a closely related scientific field.

- Computational Literacy: Familiarity with molecular dynamics, structural biology, or cheminformatics tools.
