Cloud Security Engineer

Latam based only, 100% Remote

Responsibilities

As Cloud Security Engineer, you will configure and maintain network and web application firewalls to control inbound and outbound traffic, protecting our systems from unauthorized access. You will implement security protocols and manage EDRs (SentinelOne) across our network infrastructure to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. You will develop and oversee effective monitoring systems to detect and respond to security incidents promptly, as well as implement measures to protect our email infrastructure from phishing attacks, spam, and other email-borne threats. You will also help manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data and can execute sensitive commands. Conducting regular vulnerability assessments to proactively address security weaknesses, and collaborating with development teams to ensure security is built into our applications from the outset, are also core parts of this role.

• Required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Strong understanding of network security principles
• Proficiency in network and WAF firewall administration in Google Cloud
• Experience with security monitoring and alerting tools
