About The Role

We are seeking experienced Data Analysts (MLE Bench) to join our team and contribute to benchmark-driven evaluation projects focused on real-world machine learning systems. In this role, you will work closely with ML engineers and researchers to analyze datasets, evaluate model performance, and identify areas for improvement in advanced AI systems. Your analytical expertise will help ensure that AI models operate reliably across diverse scenarios and edge cases, supporting the development of robust, production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or analytics-focused engineer. Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis is essential, along with solid experience in SQL and working with relational datasets. Candidates should have demonstrated experience analyzing ML outputs and evaluation metrics, with a strong understanding of statistics and analytical reasoning. The ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract reliable insights is crucial. Additionally, candidates must be capable of writing clean, readable, and well-documented analytical code, and possess excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets generated from ML training, inference, and evaluation pipelines to identify performance patterns and anomalies.
• Define, compute, and validate evaluation metrics used to assess model performance and behavior across different scenarios.
• Investigate data distributions, model outputs, failure modes, and edge cases relevant to benchmark tasks to inform model improvements.
• Develop and run Python and SQL scripts to analyze data, generate reports, and support evaluation workflows, ensuring reproducibility and transparency.
• Validate data quality, consistency, and correctness across datasets and experimental results to maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Create clear, comprehensive, and well-documented analytical artifacts and workflows to facilitate collaboration and future analyses.
