About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to help set up and maintain secure remote workspaces (RDP-like environments) for our clients. This is a part-time remote role with only 2–3 hours of work per day. You will mainly work on Proxmox virtualization, pfSense firewall, BunkerWeb reverse proxy/WAF, Linux server hardening, and shared web hosting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage remote desktop workspaces (RDP) on Proxmox VE.
- Install, configure, optimize and maintain Proxmox virtualization cluster/nodes.
- Deploy and manage pfSense firewall/router (NAT, VPN, firewall rules, traffic shaping, etc.).
- Full Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Window preferred): installation, security hardening, updates, monitoring, backups.
- Set up and tune BunkerWeb (NGINX-based WAF + reverse proxy) for web application protection.
- Build and maintain shared web hosting environment (user isolation, quota management, optional control panel integration like Cloud Linux, WHMCS, C-Panel, etc.).
- Handle daily/ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, security patching and performance optimization.
- Quickly provision new servers / VMs / hosting accounts as per demand.

- Strong practical experience with Proxmox VE (clustering, backups, HA preferred).
- Good working knowledge of pfSense (firewall rules, OpenVPN/WireGuard, multi-WAN, etc.).
- Experience configuring BunkerWeb or similar modern reverse proxy + WAF solutions.
- Proven track record setting up shared web hosting environments with proper user isolation.
- Solid understanding of Linux security best practices, SSH hardening, fail2ban, iptables/nftables, etc.
- Comfortable working independently via SSH, remote tools and documentation.
- Good communication skills (written English + Hindi if possible).
