About the role:

Support the reporting and analytics needs of the organization by maintaining a suite of Power BI reports for a specific business unit, work with IT teams to maintain/enhance the data environment needed to provide reporting and analytics, and provide analytics and insights about the organizational performance.

As our Analyst, you will:

• Leverage Power BI to build compelling data visualizations
• Set up and automate recurring reporting requests
• Understand business drivers and strategic focus areas and embed them into requested reports and analytics to further drive organizational focus

• Be a point of contact and thought leader for your stakeholders for the reports you support

· Provide accurate reporting that drives compensation and performance management decisions

• Succinctly communicate data and insights to leadership to drive focus and decision making
• Support month end, quarter end and year end planning processes by providing accurate data and the context of how to interpret it
• Create/develop/maintain data models needed for various reporting requests
• Investigate data discrepancies in our environment and recommend paths to resolution
• Champion the standardization of and use of data in reporting so that stakeholders are aligned on the progress to organizational goals and drivers of performance
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and raise awareness through reporting and analytics
• Set up and automate recurring reporting requests

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Degree (BA in Economics, Finance, or Business OR BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics)
• 3 - 7 years of Business Analyst, Sales Analyst and/or similar reporting & analytics role
• Experienced Power BI user or equivalent experience with visualization tools
• Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) and Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer Associated (DP-600) considered an asset
• Excel expert and comfortable with MS Office Suite
• Ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment
• Experience working with Sales or Customer data in a B2B and Technology environment
• Experience with a CRM Platform (Saleforce.com) will be highly beneficial
• Strong analytical problem solving skills with sound business judgement, with the ability to understand the implications of what the data is telling us
• The ability to work with high degree of focus and attention to detail is a must
