Senior DevOps Engineer – Fully Remote – Hong Kong - Europe Working Hours
The role is fully remote B2B Contract and is paying up to USD 100K per annum
A Senior DevOps Engineer is required for an exciting and innovative Software house company based in Hong Kong. The company operates at the forefront of sports, entertainment, and cryptocurrency, and they are growing rapidly. The successful Senior Devops Engineer will own and evolve the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability practices. This is a hands-on engineering role guided by Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, focused on automation, operational excellence, and proactive risk reduction — within the governance and compliance expectations of the iGaming industry.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years commercial experience as DevOps Engineer ideally in fintech, banking or crypto exchanges.
- Design, operate, and improve AWS-based infrastructure across multiple regions and environments
- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi with TypeScript)
- Apply SRE principles to reduce operational toil and enhance observability and alerting
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Build scalable, multi-tenant deployment workflows that support automated promotion, failover, and rollbacks
- Support secure system design, secrets management, and access control
- Enable and integrate security scanning and secure SDLC practices into CI/CD
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
