Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support delivery within a large Cyber Security Programme comprising multiple parallel initiatives focused on strengthening security capabilities, improving operational resilience, and enhancing governance and technology across the organisation.
This is a complex, multi-year programme delivering business and technical change across several workstreams. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and cyber security teams to capture, analyse, and manage requirements throughout the programme lifecycle.
The role requires a proactive Business Analyst who can operate independently across multiple initiatives while ensuring requirements are clearly defined, validated, and aligned with programme objectives.

The Business Analyst will support discovery, definition, design, and transition activities across several workstreams within the cyber security programme.
Key responsibilities include:
• Analysing current state processes, security workflows, and technology dependencies.
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops, interviews, and structured requirements gathering sessions.
• Producing clear and traceable business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Conducting gap analysis to identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the definition of future state operating models, service processes, and organisational roles.
• Ensuring solutions align with security standards, governance frameworks, and operational requirements.
• Contributing to acceptance criteria, test planning, and validation activities.
• Supporting transition to operations to ensure new capabilities are successfully embedded into BAU.
• Maintaining structured programme artefacts and documentation aligned with governance requirements.
The role will work closely with technical leads, architects, cyber specialists, and operational teams to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and operationally viable.

Essential
• Degree in Information Systems, Business, Cyber Security, IT, or equivalent experience.

• Typically 5–10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience within cyber, digital, infrastructure, or large transformation programmes
• Experience capturing and managing requirements across multiple workstreams
• Experience working with architects, SMEs, and operational teams
• Experience mapping dependencies across legacy, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Experience supporting testing, assurance, and transition activities
