Senior Data Engineer / $160k–$200k + Equity / 100% Remote

Job Overview

I’m excited to share that I’m actively working with a leading IT management SaaS company that is continuing to scale out its core data platform. They are looking to bring on a Senior to Staff level Data Engineer to help build and scale the systems that move and process large volumes of data across their platform.

This is a backend-focused role centered around data pipelines, system design, and distributed architecture in AWS. You will need to be strong in Python and comfortable operating in high-scale production environments.

• Built and scaled data pipelines in production environments
• Worked with event-driven or streaming systems (SQS, Kafka, or similar)
• Designed data infrastructure in AWS from the ground up

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases at scale
• Built backend services or microservices that support data movement
• Experience working in SaaS or product-focused engineering teams
• Operated within high-throughput or high-volume systems

• Have built data platforms or pipeline systems from scratch
• Have worked with large-scale data processing (millions or billions of records)

Salary:

$160k-$200k base salary / stock options
