Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Isaacus is an AI research company building legal superintelligence. Our state-of-the-art AI models help legal tech firms ship smarter products, faster. We're based in Australia but operate internationally, serving law firms, enterprises, and governments in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and elsewhere.

We're looking for an ML Engineer to design, train, and evaluate state-of-the-art AI models.

What you'll do

As an Isaacus ML Engineer, you'll:

• Train state-of-the-art AI models.
• Design new model architectures and build on existing architectures.
• Robustly evaluate the performance of AI models.
• Construct and improve training datasets, including through scraping, synthetic data generation, and cleaning.

What we're looking for

An Isaacus ML Engineer should:

• Be fluent in Python, PyTorch, Transformers, Numpy, and scikit-learn.
• Be skilled at training and evaluating AI models and designing model architectures, particularly transformer models.
• Be familiar with Linux and Weights & Biases.
• Be experienced in NLP, including with embeddings, information retrieval, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

Having a background or experience in the legal industry is a bonus but not required.
