Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking an Operations Manager - Distribution Center to join the team. This position is located at our Dallas, TX. facility. Relocation assistance is available!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

What You'll Do
The Distribution Center (DC) Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for a medium to high-volume order fulfillment distribution center. This role also includes supporting functional excellence across divisional facilities. The manager will ensure efficient product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment operations by optimizing resources and processes, while meeting key performance metrics in safety, quality, cost, and employee engagement.
The DC Operations Manager role will drive the operation through development and implementation of key processes to ensure compliance within company policies and procedures. By using continual process improvement tools (such as Lean and Six Sigma), the DC Operations Manager will lead employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where team members are involved, empowered, and committed to the success of the company.
Essential Functions Include
Warehouse Operations and Team Management: Plan, direct, and implement warehouse operations and administrative support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Direct the operations of the warehouse management team to achieve prescribed objectives. Manage a staff of supervisors and associates to ensure timely distribution of merchandise within budget, policy, procedure, and quality standards to meet customer, sales, and finance requirements. Effectively lead associates by creating a common vision and shared understanding of organizational strategy, while strengthening commitment through recognition of individual and team achievements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques and establishes programs to supervise, counsel, and discipline subordinates.

Budgeting, Cost Management & Profitability: Develop and recommend the annual operating budget and manages control systems to ensure service levels and operational performance are achieved within cost, revenue, and profit targets. Procure equipment and facilities necessary to support efficient operations and company profit goals.
Safety and Compliance: Operate in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Develop and maintain programs that uphold company standards for sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, and safety.

You possess a strong understanding of logistics and carrier performance, coupled with solid financial planning and forecasting skills, enabling effective budget oversight and data-driven projections of operational improvements and risks. You demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, thrive under tight deadlines with shifting priorities, and communicates effectively within a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization. Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum 5 years of distribution center / warehouse / operations experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
- Previous distribution center supervisory experience.
- Six sigma green belt certification a plus.
- Experience working with a RF based WMS and TMS systems.
- Experience leading an operation with light assembly.
- Experience with quality systems and ISO certification.
