Job Title: Lead Digital Product Manager
π Location: 100% Remote
π° Pay Rate: $85β$90/hr
π Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension/conversion)

Job Summary:
Weβre looking for a Lead Digital Product Manager to drive core banking modernization for the small business segment. This role leads and mentors Digital Product Managers, Financial Product Managers, Business Systems Consultants (BSCs), and Business Analysts (BAs), owning deep requirements analysis, configuration assessment, data migration from mainframe systems, and end-to-end process flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product roadmap for small business core banking modernization, translating business outcomes into epics, features, and prioritized backlogs.
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams (Digital PMs, Financial PMs, BSCs, BAs).
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and as-is/to-be configuration assessments (especially Hogan).
- Create and maintain current and future-state process flows and system interaction maps.
- Lead data conversion planning and execution, partnering with architecture and engineering on APIs and integrations.
- Drive externalization of product and pricing rules, ensuring configurability and reusability.
- Rebuild SME knowledge, including playbooks, decision logs, and configuration catalogs.
- Support UAT, operational readiness, post-conversion stabilization, and manage cross-team dependencies.
Qualifications:

- 8β12+ years in Product Management or equivalent, preferably in core banking initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe-based core systems (Hogan/FIS preferred).
- Proven track record in core modernization, data conversion, and process engineering.
- Strong requirements analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and traceability skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning business, tech, and risk stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of small business banking products, pricing, and operational processes.
Preferred:
- Experience at large U.S. banks using Hogan or similar systems.
- Hands-on work in externalizing product and pricing rules (catalogs, engines, governance).
- Knowledge of API-first modernization, event/data streaming, and configuration-driven architectures.
- Exposure to conversion cutovers, parallel runs, and post-conversion stabilization.
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements for core banking changes.
