ABOUT THE JOB
As People Director, Mid-Europe, you will safeguard and elevate People performance across France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and Germany. You will translate company strategy into regional People priorities, ensuring leadership capability, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance frameworks support strong operational execution and sustainable growth.
You will act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, bridging strategy with frontline execution, leading cross-functional initiatives, and building scalable People structures that protect brand integrity, strengthen engagement, and enable long-term success. In this role, you will serve as the trusted People Business Partner to the region and report directly to the Managing Director for Mid-Europe, advising on organizational development, leadership capability, talent strategy, performance culture, and complex people matters - while supporting a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that empowers teams to take ownership and drive results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regional People Strategy: Build and implement scalable People structures aligned with growth ambitions.
- Talent Acquisition: Own full recruitment lifecycle, anticipate hiring needs, and strengthen employer branding.
- Learning & Development: Ensure global learning frameworks are delivered effectively.
- Employee Relations: Advise on performance management, onboarding, corrective actions, terminations, and investigations.
- Compliance & Payroll: Ensure adherence to local labor laws, union negotiations, and payroll governance.
- Performance & Insights: Use People KPIs and workforce data to guide decisions, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with HQ, and regional leadership to align global policies with local needs.

WHO YOU ARE
- International Profile: You have lived and worked in multiple countries and thrive in culturally diverse environments.
- F&B Expertise: You have a strong background in the food & beverage industry (or retail), ideally with multi-country operational experience.
- Experienced Leader: 5+ years in senior People roles, with proven ability to influence across regions and functions.
- Strategic & Operational Thinker: You can translate company priorities into actionable plans while understanding frontline realities.
- Mindset: High empathy and strong drive, low ego, and a hands-on attitude. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve challenges today while keeping a clear perspective on what the organization needs 12–36 months ahead.
