About Memorae

Memorae is an AI-native startup building the memory layer for the age of artificial intelligence. We help individuals and teams capture, organize, and resurface the information that matters — turning digital chaos into cognitive clarity. Backed by top-tier investors and headquartered in Andorra, with engineering operations in India, we are a lean, fast-moving team on a mission to become essential infrastructure for how humans and AI agents work together.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented Office & People Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of our Andorra headquarters. This is not a traditional HR role. You will be the single point of ownership for everything that keeps our Andorran team running smoothly — from employee experience and talent retention to office logistics, administrative compliance, and day-to-day operations that the founding team should not be handling.

You will work directly with the CEO and COO, acting as the connective tissue between strategy and execution on the ground. If something is broken, unclear, or slowing people down, it’s your job to fix it before anyone has to ask.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Talent Retention

  • Own the entire employee experience lifecycle in Andorra: onboarding, integration, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Design and execute retention initiatives — the mandate is not to find talent, but to keep it. Ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and motivated.
  • Manage employee satisfaction touchpoints: regular check-ins, feedback loops, team morale monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate relocation logistics for new hires moving to Andorra (housing support, administrative guidance, cultural integration).
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and perks within the approved budget framework.

Office & Administrative Management

  • Manage all operational logistics for the Andorra office: equipment procurement (laptops, peripherals, software licenses), workspace setup, and maintenance.
  • Handle travel and accommodation arrangements for the team (hotels, flights, meeting logistics).
  • Own vendor relationships and service contracts (coworking, cleaning, catering, supplies).
  • Ensure all Andorran corporate administrative obligations are met on time: registrations, filings, permits, and regulatory compliance in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Manage office-related budget tracking and expense reporting, flagging variances proactively.

Operational Support to Leadership

  • Act as the CEO’s operational right hand for non-strategic, execution-heavy tasks — removing friction so leadership can focus on product, fundraising, and growth.
  • Coordinate cross-functional logistics between the Andorra HQ and the India engineering team when needed (scheduling, shipments, documentation).
  • Support the preparation of operational aspects for investor meetings, board sessions, and company events.
  • Maintain internal documentation, policies, and SOPs for all operational processes.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • Legal right to work in Andorra (residency or eligibility to obtain one).
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, people operations, HR administration, or a similar operational role — ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in Catalan and/or Spanish (daily working languages). Professional English required for cross-team communication.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a bias for action — you don’t wait to be told what needs doing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and genuine care for employee wellbeing.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build processes from scratch.
  • Budget-awareness: experience managing operational or people-related budgets.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Andorran labor law, corporate compliance, or CASS (Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social) procedures.
  • Familiarity with modern tools: Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, HRIS platforms.
  • French language skills (useful for cross-border logistics).
  • Previous experience supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in tech, SaaS, or AI companies.

What We Offer

  • A pivotal role in a venture-backed AI startup at a defining growth stage.
  • Direct access to the CEO and founding team — your impact will be visible from day one.
  • Competitive salary aligned with Andorran market standards, plus performance-based incentives.
  • Relocation support (if applicable).
  • A chance to shape the culture and operational foundation of a company building for the long term.
  • The unique lifestyle that comes with being based in Andorra — mountains, safety, and a tight-knit international community.
