We’re growing our APAC team rapidly and looking for a Software Engineer to work closely with our team and users as we push what’s possible in recruitment tech.

The Role

You’ll be building the web applications that our business users depend on every day. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll work alongside senior team members on architecture decisions, tackle real production challenges, and help pioneer cloud-based software services that keep us ahead of the curve.

We have a strong remote work culture and already have Talkpushers located across 9 countries. You’ll be part of a local and international team and we’d love for you to spend a month or two in Asia at some point to meet the rest of the dev team in person.

What You’ll Do

• Develop state-of-the-art web applications for business users
• Collaborate with senior team members on application architecture and database design
• Investigate production support issues post-release deployment and come up with solutions
• Develop pioneering approaches to deliver cloud-based software services
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience, you know the framework well and have shipped real product with it
• A long-term mindset, you want full-time, committed involvement in building something great, not just a short-term gig
• An ability to drive innovation, you don’t just implement tickets, you think about how to make things better
• Remote-ready, with flexibility to travel, you’re comfortable working independently but open to spending time in Asia to connect with the team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, you can articulate technical ideas clearly to teammates at any level
