About the Role
- A motivated Junior Data Scientist is sought to support data-driven decision-making through analysis, modeling, and visualization. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow technical skills while working with real-world datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights
- Build and evaluate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings clearly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into data solutions
- Document processes, methodologies, and results
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or data science (internships included)
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
