Job Description

Remote | Really Great Reading

Our Mission

At Really Great Reading, we believe literacy changes lives.

We partner with educators across the country to deliver Science of Reading–aligned instruction that helps every student become a confident, capable reader. Our work supports teachers, empowers students, and advances educational equity through high-quality instructional materials.

Behind every lesson, activity, and teacher guide is thoughtful design that helps educators teach clearly and students learn effectively.

Design at Really Great Reading is not decoration — it is part of the learning experience.

Why This Role Matters

As Really Great Reading continues to grow, so does our library of instructional materials used by educators and students nationwide.

The Senior Graphic Designer plays a critical role in ensuring our curriculum and product assets remain clear, accessible, visually consistent, and production-ready at scale.

This role is both creative and technical. It requires someone who can think like a designer while working like a systems builder — creating templates, improving workflows, and ensuring every product reflects the quality and clarity that educators rely on.

When design is done well, teachers spend less time navigating materials and more time teaching. Students spend less time decoding pages and more time learning to read.

That impact starts here.
