Small Animal Internist/Internal Medicine Specialist (ACVIM/ECVIM)

King Animal Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital.


You will join an established Internal Medicine service with two other internists. In this role you will:

  • Manage a broad Internal Medicine caseload (GI, endocrine, hepatobiliary, immune-mediated, multisystem disease, etc.)
  • Partner daily with Surgery, Neurology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, ER and Rehab
  • Participate in hospital-wide rounds, knowledge sharing, and protocol development.

King Animal Hospital is a privately owned 60,000 sq ft multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital located on 50 acres in King City, Ontario, approximately 40 minutes north of Toronto.

Our hospital includes 250+ team members and more than 10 specialties, including Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Oncology, Pain Clinic, Dermatology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Emergency Services, Rehabilitation and Equine Surgery.

Qualifications


You are:

  • Board-certified Diplomate of ACVIM/ECVIM or residency-trained and board-eligible in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)
  • Collaborative and interested in teaching interns, RVTs, and colleagues.
