Job Description
- We re working with a team building a high-performance platform that powers secure networking, routing, and connectivity at scale.
- This is not typical backend work this is deep systems engineering where you re operating in the Linux networking stack, building real infrastructure used in production environments.
- If you ve ever built a VPN, worked on routing, or gone down the rabbit hole of how packets actually move through a system, this is that kind of role.
- Building virtual routing and secure networking systems from the ground up
- Writing Rust (primarily) and C/C++-level code close to the OS
- Working directly in the Linux network stack (packet flow, routing, performance)
- Developing components like VPNs, firewalls, and network services
- Debugging real-world issues at every layer from code to packets
- Running and optimizing systems across large-scale distributed environments

- Strong background in systems programming (Rust, C, or C++)
- Deep understanding of Linux + networking fundamentals
- Experience building or maintaining VPNs, routers, firewalls, or similar systems
- Comfort working with tools like iptables/nftables, tcpdump, Netfilter, iproute2
- Ability to operate in the guts of systems and debug complex behavior
- Bonus points if you ve worked with BSD, OpenWrt, DPDK, or similar environments.
