Business Systems Analyst (EDI) – 100% Remote

Our Client, a Fortune 500 leader in distribution and supply chain solutions, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong EDI experience to join a major enterprise initiative. This role will support the rollout of standardized business applications across multiple internal business units and help drive large-scale EDI integration and trading partner onboarding.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business operations, EDI platforms, and ERP systems, while collaborating with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll be part of a project team responsible for implementing a new technology platform across several internal business units that manage proprietary product lines and operate across B2B, B2C, and marketplace channels.

A major focus of the role will be supporting the onboarding of approximately 100 EDI trading partners and helping ensure smooth integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Support EDI trading partner onboarding from requirements through production
• Map and document current and future business processes
• Assist with EDI document mapping, validation, and configuration
• Work closely with solution architects and stakeholders to define system requirements
• Help maintain configuration workbooks and documentation
• Perform manual testing, unit testing, and functional validation
• Coordinate across technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders

• Support troubleshooting and analysis of EDI processes and integrations
• Assist with system demonstrations, documentation, and training support when needed

Technology Environment

• EDI Platforms: TrueCommerce (preferred), SPS Commerce, or similar EDI VAN platforms
• ERP Systems: Experience with ERP integrations required (Sage X3 is a plus)
• Tools: Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word
• Integration Method: Batch processing environments

• Experience working directly with EDI platforms and integrations
• Hands-on experience with EDI trading partner onboarding
• Strong understanding of EDI document mapping and data validation
• Experience working with ERP systems and related business processes
• Ability to document requirements, processes, and technical workflows
