Sales Engineer
Location: New York, NY (Full-time, Onsite)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to partner closely with our go-to-market team and support sales into manufacturing organizations. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and sales, helping customers understand how Dirac fits into their existing workflows. You will work directly with prospects and customers to demonstrate the platform, solve technical challenges, and help drive complex enterprise deals forward.
Responsibilities
- Lead product demos, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concepts for prospective customers
- Translate customer engineering and manufacturing workflows into Dirac solutions
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers across engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams
- Work cross-functionally with product and engineering to relay customer feedback and shape the roadmap
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to support technical evaluation and deal execution
- Support onboarding and early deployments to ensure successful customer adoption

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical customer-facing role
- Experience working with enterprise software platforms
- Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, or other highly technical organizations
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Background
- Familiarity with core engineering and manufacturing software ecosystems including CAD, PLM, and ERP systems, as well as common product development workflows
- Experience working with CAD assemblies and geometry hierarchies and familiarity with common CAD file formats and product data structures
- Understanding of product lifecycle management concepts such as EBOM, MBOM, and engineering change processes, as well as manufacturing workflows including routing, production orders, and work instructions
- Experience with modern development tools and workflows including version control systems and familiarity with programming languages such as TypeScript or Go
- Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools and working in highly technical environments
- Familiarity with product analytics tools and data-driven decision making
