Job Description
Company Description
Phacilitate is an Australian design and marketing consultancy built for modern, growth-focused businesses.
We operate at the intersection of strategy, brand, and digital — bridging strategic thinking with high-level creative execution. From brand identity and websites to campaign creative and performance marketing assets, we design work that is both commercially intelligent and visually compelling. Our model differs from traditional agencies. We run a lean, senior-led structure and intentionally cap our client load to maintain depth of thinking, strong execution standards, and hands-on involvement across every project.
AI is embedded into how we work — not as a shortcut, but as a strategic advantage. We use it to reduce production inefficiencies, accelerate ideation, and enhance creative output while maintaining craft, judgement, and quality at the centre. As we grow, we’re looking for a highly capable Senior UI UX designer who understands both craft and speed — and who knows how to use AI to elevate their workflow, not replace their thinking.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior UI/UX Designer. We’re looking for a confident and highly skilled UI & UX Designer with a strong background in both brand and web design. This is a senior-level role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment, and can take ownership of creative projects from concept to delivery. You’ll be responsible for designing elegant, high-performing websites, brand identities, user journeys, and digital assets. You’ll collaborate closely with our strategy, content, and development teams to bring ideas to life—and you’ll need to be just as comfortable creating design systems as you are crafting polished layouts in Figma.
To be considered, you will need:
- Minimum 4+ years experience in UI, UX, and digital brand design.
- An impressive portfolio showcasing custom website designs, brand identities, and user-centred design
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems)
- Experience designing for responsive web, eCommerce, landing pages, and mobile interfaces
- Ability to translate wireframes and briefs into exceptional user interfaces and intuitive experiences
- A good eye for typography, colour, layout, and branding
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Webflow, and Miro (or similar)
- Understanding of user-centred design principles, UX research methods, and usability testing
- Strong communication and presentation skills—you can explain design decisions clearly and confidently
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects
