Senior Data Engineer (Databricks / Azure) – Contract
Location: Remote (Europe)
Rate: €400–€450 per day
Contract: 6 months (extension likely)
Start: April 2026
We’re partnering with a global consulting organisation looking to add a Senior Data Engineer to their team, supporting the build and evolution of a Databricks-based data platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role, working as part of a distributed team across Europe, focused on delivering scalable Azure lakehouse solutions.
The Role
You’ll be joining a data platform engineering team, working on:
- Building and optimising Databricks data pipelines
- Developing a modern Azure lakehouse platform
- Supporting data ingestion, transformation and modelling
- Improving platform performance, scalability and cost efficiency
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Working closely with engineers across Europe and the US
