Telecom Engineer (CSD)

CSD / Telecom Engineer (Remote – Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia and Costa Rica)

We’re hiring a Telecom Engineer (CSD) to support core network operations and implementations in a fully remote setup.

This opportunity is open to candidates based in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

Responsibilities:

• Support the integration, deployment, and upgrade of core telecom nodes such as CSD/DRA and related systems
• Work with 4G and 5G network architectures, including understanding and analyzing call flows across different protocols

• Execute system validation, acceptance testing, and post-deployment activities to ensure network performance and stability
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and system-level issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver and implement technical solutions aligned with requirements
• Support ongoing operations and maintenance activities when needed

Requirements:

• Experience with telecom protocols such as Diameter, SS7, SIGTRAN, and GSM
• Strong understanding of 4G/5G architectures and core network elements

• Hands-on experience in implementation, integration, or troubleshooting within telecom environments
• Working knowledge of Linux or Unix systems
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Docker, Kubernetes, or Telco Cloud environments is a plus

Nice to have:

• Experience working with nodes such as DRA, DEA, SEPP, SCP, or BSF
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, or Perl)
• Experience with telecom vendors
