PROJECT

Our team works across the airline crewing industry domain, providing real time system for planning, scheduling, and tracking for thousands of crew members. It ensures that crews are legal, experienced, and have enough rest to safely conduct a flight. It solves complex optimization problems to bring the crew back on track after major schedule changes – like volcanoes, hurricanes, etc.

This position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to work with a variety of people at all levels of management across the enterprise. The candidate must demonstrate very strong problem-solving and time management skills willing to help our customers across the world.

Candidates without long commercial experience and with a sharp mind are welcome.

YOU WILL

• Designs, creates, executes, and maintains automated tests

• Creates test documents
• Monitors test execution, collects metrics, identifies coverage gaps, and applies needed corrections.
• Analyses, improves, and tracks product testing problems
• Consults with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems
• Participates in knowledge sharing

MUST HAVE

• Basic Java knowledge
• Solid knowledge of OOP
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing
• JIRA or another bug tracking tool
• Test process and testing techniques
• Software Development Lifecycle (SCRUM/Kanban methodology)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication skills, written and verbal

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience of BDD
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with web technologies: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
• Experience with databases: Mongo, Oracle
• User knowledge of Maven and Git
• Working in global and distributed teams
• Experience in the Fitnesse framework is an advantage
• Basic DevOps knowledge is an advantage
