Job Brief:

The Sr. Flutter App Developer is part of our Software Development team and is responsible for enhancing and maintaining products for our clients. The role will be responsible for developing mobile solutions utilizing the latest technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Qualified individuals will design, program, document, debug, test, deploy, support and sustain mobile Flutter applications. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in developing applications with Flutter and the Dart programming language to create native mobile applications that are hosted on both the iOS and Android App Stores. Ideal candidates will also have experience/familiarity with developing in native Android (Java or Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).

What You Will Do:

• Write clean, concise, readable and testable Flutter code
• Implement and maintain features and interfaces adhering to designs created by our UX team for mobile applications
• Supports the Software Development Lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Writes/performs unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Performs troubleshooting to debug and optimize code performance
• Liaise with product development team to plan new products and features
• Ensures new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Manages work effort via agile methodology and participates in SCRUM meetings
• Maintains code via software development version control platform working with a team of other developers.
• Leverage multiple AI-driven tools to help accelerate and improve development output
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

We Should Talk If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Mobile Application development specifically in Flutter and at least 3+ years in a Senior or Team Lead role
• Strong mobile UI design skills and demonstrable proficiency using UIKit Framework
• Experience integrating with 3rd Party Web Services/APIs
• Experience with automated testing and debugging Mobile Applications
• Strong understanding of state management like Bloc, Provider, Riverpod or similar
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented development.
• Working experience with common architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean, and TDD along with SOLID principles
• Strong expertise with animation and custom UI using Flutter
• Experience with platform-specific integrations
• Desire to learn new technologies and evolve skill set
• Experience maintaining code via software development version control platforms (GitHub, BitBucket,etc)
• Experience managing tasks/work effort via agile (Jira experience a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with AWS suite specifically s3, DynamoDB, EC2 and Lambdas
• Hands-on experience developing with Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift
• Prior agency experience, working with multiple clients
