As our UI/UX Designer, you will bridge the gap between complex software requirements and intuitive, meaningful digital experiences. You won't just be pushing pixels; you’ll be developing and executing design strategies that empower the churches and organizations we serve. Working closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads, you will serve as a key advocate for the user, ensuring we solve the right problems with elegant, sustainable, and high-impact solutions.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather user requirements, identify technical constraints, and advocate for the end user.
- Map out the user journey through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to ensure a logical and frictionless experience.
- Design intuitive UI elements—from navigation systems and search functionality to interactive widgets—that feel seamless and modern.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to demonstrate functionality and aesthetic direction to stakeholders.
- Create original graphic assets, sketches, and layout designs that align with the organization’s brand identity.
- Present drafts to internal teams, identify UX friction points (such as responsiveness or accessibility issues), and refine designs based on real-world user feedback.
- Maintain and evolve our design language, ensuring strict adherence to style standards for typography, color theory, and iconography.
