What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop and implement cybersecurity standards and procedures in compliance with government regulations

• Analyze and recommend security requirements for various computer systems, including mainframes and personal computers
• Support vulnerability and risk analyses throughout the system development life cycle
• Communicate with senior customer stakeholders regarding cybersecurity metrics and reporting
• Ensure the safety of information systems data assets and respond to cyber events in a timely manner
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of 3 related certifications in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 4 years of work-related experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
• Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to undergo a background investigation for a position of NASA Public Trust
• Demonstrated knowledge of NIST Information Technology Security Special Publications (SP) 800 series
