Job Description

Why this role exists

Most B2B SaaS & AI founders don’t usually fail because they can’t ship features. They fail because they ship confusing products: clunky onboarding, unclear value moments, and pricing/PLG flows that quietly kill activation, conversion, and NRR long before investors ever see the deck. In the age of AI, it’s now possible to build almost anything (and just as easy to build the wrong thing, in the wrong way).

Full Stack CEO™ is building a new archetype of CEO: leaders who treat product, AI, GTM, and capital as one system. To do that, we’re assembling Startup Mentors (AI‑Native Product & UX) who have actually designed and shipped revenue‑generating products, who live inside tools like Figma, Framer, Cursor, and Lovable, and who can help founders avoid expensive UX mistakes before a launch or funding round.

About Full Stack CEO™

Full Stack CEO™ is an operating system for B2B SaaS & AI founders from first revenue to ~$25M ARR: a private CEO Operating Room, stage‑based labs, and selective advisory to help them scale without losing control of metrics, teams, or themselves.

We focus on VC‑backed (or VC‑aspiring) B2B SaaS & AI CEOs from pre‑seed to Series B who want investor‑grade control over GTM, product, and capital in the age of AI.

Founders move through:

  • CEO Operating Room: Always‑on “operating room” with weekly Control sessions, Thursday AMAs with operators/VCs, templates, and a curated peer group.
  • Stage‑Based Labs: 10–12 week accelerators (Zero to First Revenue, Traction to Repeatable GTM, Series A to B Control) that build real traction and control across GTM, product, and metrics.
  • CEO & GTM Advisory: 1:1 operator‑GP support for Seed–Series B CEOs on GTM design, control scorecards, runway, and board/investor narrative.

This AI‑Native Product & UX mentor sits across all three: sharpening how founders design products, workflows, and monetisation paths that actually earn and retain revenue.

What you'll do

As a Startup Mentor (AI‑Native Product & UX) you will:

  • Join selected Thursday AMAs to review prototypes, MVPs, and live products: tearing down onboarding, activation paths, and key workflows in real time, then pointing founders toward concrete fixes.
  • Drop into Labs cohorts (especially Zero to First Revenue and Traction to Repeatable GTM) when founders are locking in core user journeys, PLG flows, and pricing models, so they don’t ship themselves into a corner.
  • Help founders make critical product‑strategy calls such as:
  • PLG vs. sales‑assisted vs. sales‑led
  • Freemium vs. trial vs. paid‑only
  • How to structure upsell, cross‑sell, and downsell flows for NRR and CAC payback, not just “more features.”
  • Review Figma, Framer, and/or live builds to improve:
  • First‑time user onboarding and “aha” moments
  • In‑product prompts and AI assistance
  • Navigation, information hierarchy, and UX patterns appropriate to their ICP
  • Share concrete examples from your own shipped products where small UX changes materially shifted: activation, retention, expansion, or conversion to paid.
  • Collaborate with us to create plug‑and‑play UX and product checklists founders can use (e.g., “MVP launch checklist,” “PLG readiness checklist,” “NRR‑oriented upgrade flows”).
  • Occasionally mentor a dedicated small group of founders in a cohort more closely (e.g., 3–5 CEOs working through product and UX over 6–12 weeks) if both sides want it.

Time commitment: ~2–4 hours per month, fully remote and flexible. You opt into sessions and cohorts where your experience is genuinely relevant.

Who this is for:

You’re likely one (or more) of these:

  • Senior product designer / product lead / UX lead who has shipped multiple B2B SaaS or applied‑AI products that generate real ARR.
  • Founder or founding designer who has taken a product from idea → MVP → paying customers, with hands‑on ownership of UX, flows, and in‑product monetisation.
  • You work in the tools (Figma, Framer, Webflow, code‑adjacent builders, AI tooling like Cursor/Lovable/Copilot) and are comfortable jumping into actual files and prototypes. Not just giving high‑level feedback.
  • You understand how product and UX connect to metrics like activation rate, conversion to paid, NRR, and CAC payback, and you’ve used that understanding to guide real decisions.
  • You enjoy teaching founders how to think about product and UX in a disciplined way (without turning them into designers) and you’re willing to share the ugly versions and dead ends, not just the Dribbble shots.

This is not a fit if:

  • Your experience is mostly leadership/management without recent, hands‑on time in design tools or product delivery.
  • Your primary goal is to sell agency or design services into the room. Any engagements that emerge should come from trust and fit, not from pitches in sessions.

What you get

  • A “Startup Mentor (AI‑Native Product & UX) – Full Stack CEO™” role you can proudly show on LinkedIn as part of the founding mentor network.
  • A curated room of B2B SaaS & AI CEOs from first revenue to ~$25M ARR, plus other operators, investors, and exited founders. People who will actually ship things you’re proud to be associated with.
  • Clean, organic collaboration and dealflow: you meet founders by helping them design better products and flows, not through cold outreach. If advisory, consulting, or angel investment conversations make sense, you pursue them directly with the founder.
  • Early access to the Full Stack CEO operating system (control scorecards, GTM maps, labs, and product/UX frameworks) as we build it, with your input shaping the product & UX layer.
  • A front‑row seat on how AI‑era B2B SaaS companies are actually building, launching, and iterating products in 2026 across dozens of live cases, not just your own roadmap.

You’re joining at ground zero, while this is still small and handcrafted. The mentors who help build this now will shape how an entire generation of CEOs design products that actually earn the right to scale and survive in the age of AI.

How to apply

Apply here on LinkedIn. Bonus points if you add a short note with:

  • A brief overview of the B2B SaaS / AI products you’ve shipped (roles held, tools used, stages reached, key outcomes in ARR/usage if you can share).
  • 1–2 sentences on how you can best help founders (e.g., “PLG onboarding and activation,” “AI‑assisted workflows and UX,” “pricing/monetisation flows”).
  • One concrete example where a change in UX or product flow materially changed the trajectory of a product (activation, conversion, retention, NRR) and what you learned.

If it’s a fit for this mentor cohort, you’ll be invited to a 30‑minute conversation with Yannick Kpodar, Founder & CEO of Full Stack CEO™, to align on expectations, topics, and where you can contribute most.

If we don’t move forward this round, you’re very welcome to apply again for future cohorts as the mentor network expands.
