About the role

InterOpera is not looking for a conventional ML researcher or a siloed developer. We are seeking an AI Product Builder—a true builder who can design, develop, and ship mission-critical AI features from inception to production deployment. You will be responsible for the "Workflow DNA" that powers our autonomous AI Employee Network.

In this role, you will transcend the boundaries of a traditional developer. You will not be confined to a single layer of the stack; instead, you will own the entire lifecycle of mission-critical AI features—from the initial architectural whiteboarding to production-grade deployment and real-world maintenance. We are looking for a builder who takes pride in the "Workflow DNA" of their code, ensuring every component is robust, scalable, and audit-ready. Your responsibilities will include:

• AI Orchestration & Intelligence: Architecting sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, mastering prompt engineering, and designing multi-agent workflows that go beyond simple chat interfaces to solve complex enterprise logic.
• Backend & Systems Engineering: Designing and maintaining high-performance, secure APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django) or Go. You will manage the core data layer, ensuring seamless integration between traditional relational databases (Postgres) and high-speed vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector).
• Frontend & Human-in-the-Loop UX: Implementing clean, functional, and responsive interfaces using React or Next.js. You will focus on building "Human-in-the-Loop" (HITL) governance tools that allow enterprise users to monitor, verify, and override AI decisions with 100% confidence.
• DevOps & Production Reliability: Taking full responsibility for the "shipping" process. This includes containerizing services with Docker, managing orchestration via Kubernetes, and overseeing cloud infrastructure to ensure that deployed AI employees maintain 99%+ production reliability.

Who You Are

• A Proven Builder: You have at least 5–8 years of experience and have shipped at least two production-grade systems.
• Ownership Mindset: You think about the product, not just the code. You can explain the technical trade-offs of your architectural decisions.
• Production Focused: You move past "GPT experiments" to build reliable, high-accuracy systems that handle real-world data exceptions.

Technical Requirements

• AI: LLM integration, RAG, LangChain, or OpenAI API.
• Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django), Go, or Node.js.
• Frontend: React or Next.js.
• Data: Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector) and Postgres.
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud (AWS/GCP).
