We are seeking experienced PeopleSoft Systems Administrators to support a major higher education institutions in the GCC. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of the PeopleSoft application environment across multiple systems and environments.

The role requires strong experience managing the PeopleTools stack, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), WebLogic, and supporting infrastructure, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability for mission-critical university applications.

Key Responsibilities

PeopleSoft System Administration

• Monitor the daily health and availability of the PeopleSoft application environment, including log review, system alerts, and process monitoring.
• Ensure all scheduled jobs, batch processes, and system services are running efficiently.
  
  

Environment Management

• Support migrations of code and configurations between development, test, and production environments.
• Execute Data Mover scripts and manage environment configurations as required for system maintenance and development lifecycle support.
  
  

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues affecting PeopleSoft environments.
• Work closely with database administrators and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve performance issues.
  
  

Environment Refresh & Cloning

• Support database refresh and cloning processes to maintain development and testing environments.
• Ensure system availability across environments for development, testing, and operational needs.
  
  

System Installation & Configuration

• Install, configure, and maintain the PeopleSoft technical architecture including:
• PeopleTools
• PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA)
• Web servers
• Application servers
• Process schedulers
• Integration components
  

Patch & Upgrade Management

• Apply patches, bundles, and updates using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant.
• Perform PeopleTools upgrades and system maintenance activities as required.
  
  

Performance & System Optimization

• Monitor system performance and support tuning activities across application and infrastructure layers.
• Support proactive monitoring of system resources and capacity.
  
  

Infrastructure Coordination

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support system installation, hardware sizing recommendations, and operational readiness.
• Assist with system monitoring and operational automation where applicable.
  
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies and change management procedures.
  
  

Experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft system administration for HCM. FSCM and Campus Solutions.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft Application 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.57 or later.
