Job Title: SCADA System Analyst

Contract Length: 9+ Month contract

Hybrid (Schedule: Minimum 4 days onsite after initial 2-week onsite period)

Location: Lutz, FL 33549

Pay: 65-70 an hr on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems Analyst specializing in Industrial Control Systems with strong expertise in SCADA, PLC, and HMI development. This role supports solar and battery technology applications and participates in the full software development lifecycle under the direction of solution architects. The ideal candidate is technically strong, independent, and thrives in collaborative Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Ignition Perspective v8.1+ web-based and mobile-responsive HMIs.
• Design and implement SCADA solutions for energy supply applications.
• Program and maintain Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
• Build dashboards and visualization tools using Canary Axiom.
• Perform asset modeling and event frame development within OSIsoft PI / Aveva PI.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking.
• Conduct technical and functional unit testing.
• Support cross-browser compatibility and application performance.

• Collaborate within Agile/Kanban teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Ignition Perspective v8.1 SCADA and HMI development.
• 1+ year of Azure DevOps (Git, CI/CD, work item tracking).
• Strong proficiency in SCADA architecture and industrial automation environments.
• Experience with T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of software testing practices.
• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment (local candidates only).

Highly Desired

• 3+ years of Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC development (ladder logic, function block, structured text).
• 3+ years supporting Utility or Renewable Energy generation environments.
• 1+ year of Canary Axiom dashboard development.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years working with OSIsoft PI Asset Framework, PI Point Builder, and PI Vision.
